Palomar Estates West Garden Club
We have "planted" a Garden Club at Palomar Estates West!!! Meetings are held on the first Monday of the month, from 2-3:30pm in the Pavilion at the Clubhouse with the next meeting on Monday, November 3rd. Join us as we learn more about all things gardening and if you would like to, bring some plants or cuttings to exchange! Refreshments round out an hour and a half well spent!
Mission
Provide an opportunity to share gardening wisdom and knowledge with other residents, learn new gardening techniques, enjoy new programs, special projects and participate in in-park garden tours and outside field trips.
Vision
Assist PEW residents with their gardening interests and needs. Topics will include container gardening, limited space, amending soil, growing vegetables, rock gardening, the special world of succulents, regional planting, transplanting, seed starts, Xeriscape gardening, composting, worm casting and more. Utilize the knowledge from Master Gardeners who reside in the park!
