You never know when a disaster will strike.

Are you READY for a fire, earthquake, or other disaster? READY is your resident volunteer disaster team. Our goal is to provide help and information when needed to all our residents in the event of a major emergency. Having a “plan of action” can help. Professional emergency services may not be readily available. The San Marcos emergency radio station is AM 1610.

Earthquake Warnings Earthquake Warning California uses science, state-of the-art ground motion monitoring, as well as new and existing alerting methods to deliver warnings to people via cell phones before the strongest shaking arrives.
